Keynote: Generationen besser verstehen – Kommunikationsstrategien zur Überwindung des Generationen Gaps (DE) / Understanding Generations Better – Communication Strategies for Bridging the Generation Gap

The keynote will begin by taking a critical look at the much-discussed ‘generation gap’, which is increasingly posing challenges for universities and university lecturers. To what extent is this concept actually substantiated by research, and how useful is it in terms of communication strategies aimed at fostering understanding in teaching? The presentation will then highlight verifiable differences between various generations of students and put forward helpful communication strategies for each group for discussion.
